Why Tuck wears a jumper
The knit suit started as padding after a bad day with a prototype and a toddler. It became the most-loved thing about him.

Our second prototype had a beautiful white shell. A two-year-old walked into it at full speed during a home visit and cried, and the shell got a scratch. Nobody was hurt, but everybody in the room learned something.
Soft first
The suit is a double-layer knit over foam, made in Guimarães. It absorbs knocks, hides the gaps between joints, and gives his touch sensors something friendly to sit behind.
Washable, obviously
It zips off in about a minute and goes in the machine at 30 °C. Care customers get a spare every year, which, judging by the photos we’re sent, mostly get worn at Christmas.
