Unbox and say hello
Tuck stands up out of his box, looks around, and asks your name. Setup takes about 20 minutes, most of it him exploring.

Give him the tour
Walk him round once. He builds a map of every room and learns where things live: mugs, shoes, the good scissors.

Fold one towel in front of him, or put one toy away. He copies, asks when he's unsure, and gets better every week.

Questions people ask first.
Tuck is 98 cm tall and 46 cm wide at the shoulders, so he fits through any standard door and turns around in 60 cm. He takes stairs one step at a time, up to 20 cm per step.
His body is covered in soft knit over rounded shells, and no gap is wide enough to pinch a child's finger. His top speed around people is 0.6 m/s, and he stops within 5 cm when touched. There's a big stop button on his back too.
No. His cameras build a map and recognise objects on the robot itself. Video never leaves your home unless you start a call. You can see and delete everything he remembers in the app.
He can't cook, climb ladders or lift more than 3 kg per hand. He won't handle knives or medication — he'll remind you, and fetch the box. We publish a list of new skills every month.
About 6 hours of normal chores per battery. Tuck ships with two and swaps them on his dock by himself, so in practice he's available all day.
Everything is covered for two years. With Care, a technician swaps the part or the whole robot the same day in most cities, and a spare knit suit arrives every year.
