A day with Mabel at Sorrel Living
Mabel is a Tuck who lives in an assisted-living home in Leeds. The residents named her, and she answers to it.

Sorrel Living took part in our Leeds trial with one Tuck on the ground floor. On day three the residents voted to call her Mabel, after a former member of staff everybody missed.
The morning round
Mabel collects the post at 08:10, delivers it door to door, and waters the conservatory. Staff told us she saves them about forty minutes before breakfast.
The unexpected part
The most-used feature wasn’t a chore at all. It was the one-tap video call, which residents use to see grandchildren without finding their glasses first.
